🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ small onion, finely diced (optional but still keto)
- ½ cup chicken broth (no sugar)
- ¼ cup heavy cream (optional for creamy version)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Season the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with:
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
2️⃣ Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Add chicken and sear 5–6 minutes per side until golden
- Remove chicken and set aside
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
In the same pan:
- Reduce heat to medium
- Add butter
- Sauté onion (if using) for 2–3 minutes
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant
Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
4️⃣ Simmer
- Add thyme
- Optional: stir in heavy cream for creamy sauce
- Return chicken to pan
- Simmer 8–10 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F / 74°C
